Because our products are handmade in small batches, slight variations in color, texture, consistency, and scent may occur. These natural variations do not affect product quality.

3. Product Use

Our products are intended for external use only.

Customers should:

  • Perform a patch test before full use.
  • Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • Keep products out of reach of children.
  • Consult a physician before use if pregnant, nursing, or under medical care.
  • Do not consume any Shea with Tay products.

4. Allergy Disclaimer

Many of our products contain natural ingredients such as shea butter, nut oils, seed oils, fragrance oils, and essential oils.

It is the customer’s responsibility to review ingredient lists before purchasing.

Shea with Tay is not responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivities resulting from the use of our products.

5. Heat & Shipping Disclaimer

Our whipped body butters are sensitive to heat.

During warmer months, products may soften or melt during shipping. This does not affect product quality.

If your body butter melts:

  • Allow it to cool completely.
  • Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes if needed.
  • Whip gently if desired to restore texture.

Refunds or replacements will not be issued for products that melt during transit due to weather conditions.

6. Orders

Once an order has been placed, we begin processing promptly.

Please verify:

  • Shipping address
  • Billing information
  • Product selections
  • Quantities

Shea with Tay is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

7. Processing & Shipping

Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days unless otherwise noted.

Shipping times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.

Shea with Tay is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • USPS
  • UPS
  • FedEx
  • Weather
  • Holidays
  • Carrier delays
  • Incorrect shipping information

8. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Once a package has been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, Shea with Tay is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Customers should contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim.

If a package arrives visibly damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged packaging
  • Photos of the damaged product

9. Returns & Refunds

Due to the personal nature of skincare products, all sales are final.

For health and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on opened or used products.

If you receive:

  • The wrong item
  • A defective product
  • A damaged product

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can review your request.

Approved claims may be eligible for:

  • Store credit
